2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7: Spyshots and Info

by Zack Colt

For the first time, the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette has been spotted! This sounds like a reason to celebrate, since we now have a quite accurate idea of what to expect.

Both a coupe and a convertible have been caught while testing, and we surely cannot wait until they won’t be so tabu subjects.
Anyways, the new model of the Corvette appears to be more compact that its current model (C6), which can’t be anything but good news. The new Corvette is rumored to be powered by a 5.5-liter V8 engine with direct injection and variable valve timing. This engine will likely provides up to 440hp and the 2014 model of the Corvette will also be available with a seven-speed manual transmission.

Well all these suppositions surely sound very atractive, but we can only wait and see if they turn to reality. The next generation of this American super car will be built in Bowling Green, Kentucky and is expected to be be launched in 2013 and commercialized in 2014.

We will keep our fingers crossed, not only anxious for it to be unveiled, but until then, to gather more information regarding all the details of the engine and the both interiour and exteriour looks of the model.
