2015 BMW 2-Series Convertible, spotted topless

The BMW 2-Series convertible which is supposed to be launched in 2015 has been spotted by automobile spies at the Nürburgring technical centre in Germany. The car in its last stages of completion as BMW is giving the finishing touches to the model.

The Convertible 2-Series model spotted by spies was in minimal camouflage and revealed the similarity between 2-Series coupe design and that of its own. The most significant difference in design is the retractable roof that makes the car convertible.

There are a few modifications but they are minor and are necessary to accommodate the roof. The antenna features on the lid of the deck.

The Convertible 2-Series model is supposed to have the same engine varieties as the coupe has. It will feature a 2-litre 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo petrol and diesel engines as well as 3-litre inline-6 TwinPower Turbo engine for the 3 varieties.
