Three were killed, including two LaGrange College baseball players after a head-on crash in west Georgia.

2 victims identified as Jacob Brown, 19, of Duluth, and Stephen Bartolotta, 18, of Palm City, Florida, died in the crash on Saturday.

The crash took place hours after LaGrange won a fifth straight USA South Tournament title with a 10-7 victory against North Carolina Wesleyan.

LaGrange College President Susanna Baxter lamented over the deaths of Brown and Bartolotta.

Both of them were inside a vehicle that crashed with another vehicle driven by Rico Dunn, 25, who was killed as well.

The wreck took place in Troup County on Georgia 109 when one of the vehicles was trying to pass.

Georgia State Patrol investigated the crash.
