Honda is to expand the Black Edition treatment to its well-known crossover SUV, the HR-V, while likewise releasing an extra limited run of the CR-V Black Edition. Coming on the back of the profitability of the specially treated with CR-V, the HR-V version is available from ₤ 25,000 ($32,252) on-the-road (OTR) price for 1.5 i-VTEC manual variation.
Showing up on dealership forecourts this month, the entry level design 1.5 i-VTEC manual comes in at ₤ 25,000 OTR, an automated CVT variation at ₤ 26,210 OTR, and the manual diesel at simply ₤ 26,820 OTR. The CR-V Black Edition is offered in 4WD with an option of petrol or diesel and manual or automatic, with an OTR cost of ₤ 31,000 for the manual 2.0 i-VTEC, and ₤ 34,300 for the automatic 1.6 i-DTEC.
Updates on the standard SE consist of black running boards, skid plates front grille and mirror caps, and 18 inch alloys; while underneath owners get some good touches including special edition leather and carpets.
Exterior features consist of black running boards, tailgate spoiler, front grille and skid plates and 19″ black alloys. Inside the premium full leather interior functions contrasting stitching with an embossed Black Edition logo on the front and rear seats, the door panels and arm rests are as well finished in black leather. This premium interior is rounded off with carpet mats finished with the Black Edition logo.
