5 Things You Didn’t Know About the Luxurious 2019 Lincoln Nautilus

2019 Lincoln Nautilus

The 2019 Lincoln Nautilus is a model that debuted not long ago at the 2017 LA Auto Show. Basically, it’s a crossover model that was once known as the Lincoln MKX. This luxury vehicle has an elegant style while offering many amazing features and smooth handling.

However, there is still little information about it, so here is what you should know about this stunning model.

  • 1. Going from Navigator to Nautilus

As mentioned, this model is basically a crossover model. So, there are influences from the Navigator’s style in it, from the compound headlights to its improved grille. Just like the Continental Sedan and the Navigator SUV, the Nautilus has nameplate badges behind the front wheels. Conversely, there’s a large LINCOLN badge in the back of the car.

Although the ones on the front doors may look a little big at first, they offer a nice design to the vehicle.

  • 2. It Has Two Turbo-Engines

In order to balance efficiency and power, this Lincoln model has taken a different approach, which is adding two turbo-engines. That being said, it has a base engine of 2.0-liter and 4 cylinders that delivers a horsepower of 250 and 280 pound-feet of torque. The other engine, which is an up-level one, has a capacity of 2.7-liters V-6 that delivers a horsepower of 335 and 380 pound-feet of torque.

The up-level engine will be more expensive compared to the base one, by about $2,400 more.

  • 3. Standard Safety

Safety is the main concern when you’re driving, and Lincoln didn’t overlook this aspect. The Nautilus debuts the safety suite Co-Pilot360. It’s pretty much standard at every trim and includes rear-cross traffic alert, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane keep assist and auto high beams.

Before this, you could only have access to these features separately. Now, they are offered as a package.

  • 4. Pickup/Delivery Service

Despite having a base price of $41,335, the Nautilus has some amazing standard convenience features. Besides giving you a 6-month CLEAR membership, Lincoln vehicles also come with standard pickup and delivery service. In other words, if you find yourself in need of a tire rotation, oil change or something of that sort, Lincoln will take care of it if you don’t have the time.

  • 5. Push-Button Gearing

The gear shift can be weird until you get used to it. When you have to park, you will find yourself reaching into the air, thus you won’t be able to rest your right hand anywhere. But there is a push-button gearing, which is stacked vertically right next to the navigation screen and has large block buttons.

Final Thoughts

The Nautilus is a luxury automobile, and it has a lot of amazing features while looking gorgeous. It has push-button gearing, two turbo-engines, and even a pickup and delivery service for when your car has a problem, but you’re not able to take it for reparations right away. Hopefully, now that you found out more about the Nautilus, you can add this vehicle to your list.
