Two dead and few injured in crash at North Hollywood liquor store

North Hollywood Liquor Store crash

A vehicle smashed into a liquor store Saturday night in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, leaving two people dead and some others injured, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The crash took place around 6:54 p.m. in the 11000 block of West Oxnard Street, according to the officials.

Six people were involved in the accident, with one person dying at the scene. Three people were admitted to the hospital and their condition was not known at the moment, a department spokesperson said.

One of the passengers that was taken to the hospital later died there, according to Captain Brian Wendling from LAPD.

Two other people injured in the crash refused to be transported to the hospital, LA fire officials said.

The building did not suffer any major damage and remained safe to occupy.
