2 dead, 3 injured after multi-car crash in Jackson, Mississippi

Two people are dead and multiple are injured following a car crash in Jackson, Mississippi on Wednesday afternoon.

Traffic was shut on W Northside Drive near Livingston Road following the the multi-car crash.

Jackson police report two confirmed fatalities because of the crash. Four people were injured, of which three had serious injuries.

First responders at the scene were performing CPR and running IV’s to the wounded following the four vehicles crash into each other.

Officials are trying to determine if speed or reckless driving caused the accident.

No one made call to 911 regarding this accident. One of the patrol officer saw the accident and the investigation started.
