Two killed after car crash in Crawford County, Kansas

Two people died after following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Crawford County, Kansas.

The crash was reported in the morning on U.S. 69.

The driver of a Toyota Tacoma had been traveling north on U.S. 69 and the driver of a Ford F350 was traveling south. Once the Toyota crossed the center line, it hit the Ford head-on, according to Kansas Highway Patrol.

Both drivers were pronounced dead on the scene.

There was a 13-year-old male passenger in the Toyota but didn’t experience injuries.

Identities of the victims have been revealed as the Ford driver was a 50-year-old man named David E. Ross of Fort Scott. The Toyota was being driven by a 63-year-old man named George Walter Danley of Mapleton, Kansas.

Both drivers were not using seatbelt.
