A crash between a coach and a minibus in Ivory Coast saw at least 25 people were killed and 31 injured, according to the transport minister on Thursday.
“All measures have been taken to figure out the exact cause of the tragedy, as well as where responsibility lies,” Amadou Kone said in a statement.
The incident took place about 100 kilometres (60 miles) from the financial capital Abidjan on Wednesday.
Kone urged Ivorians to be careful on the roads ahead of the Muslim festival of Tabaski — known elsewhere as Eid al-Adha — which would see an increase in traffic.
