Two teenagers were killed and two others were injured after a single-car crash on Guste Island Road near Madisonville, Louisiana on Wednesday morning.
The crash took place after midnight on the rural Northshore road south of Highway 22.
The car was driving at a high rate of speed and ran off the roadway, hitting two trees, a utility box, and two signs.
There were four teenage girls in the car at the time of the crash.
Two of the passengers were pronounced dead at the scene, and others were taken to hospital.
It is yet to be known that what caused the crash.
