Suspension issues causes Aston to call back cars!

Adrian HaydenPress Releases15 years ago38 Views

Following a trend it seems, Aston Martin is recalling certain model year 2007-2008 DB9 Coupe, DB9 Volante, V8 Vantage Coupe, V8 Vantage Roadster and DBS Coupes.

Aston Marin officials have informed that National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that the front bottom suspension arm cam bolt could crack along its shank allowing the lower control arm to move. This could have a major impact on the driver’s control of the steering, therefor increasing the risk of a crash.

The British automaker announced that the dealers will replace the front suspension control arm for free. The recall is expected to start before October 18, 2010.
