After having come up with a tuning kit for most every Porsche model, TechArt the company is now taking on a project named Magnum which involves the power kit called TA 058/T1. This kit would be up on show at the Geneva Motor Show event. The new Porsche Cayenne Turbo would be the car on which this kit would be used. The power of the car would then go up to 560 hp and 780 Nm of torque. This will make the car all the more sporty, enabling it to zoom off to 124 mph from rest in 15.8 seconds while the top speed the car would be capable of is a commendable 178 mph.
An intelligent electronic power management and a TECHTRONIC engine management is what the kit features and is responsible for this power increase. For the externals there is the front apron with two large air intakes and integrated TechArt daytime running lights, a TechArt Aero engine hood outfitted in carbon fiber with integrated air outlets, new side skirts, and elegant trims on all four doors. A three part tail light trim which is a TechArt make is also available with the kit. The kit also includes an integrated spoiler shape in combination with the roof spoiler and a new exhaust system with sport tailpipes.
Merdad is one other tuning firm that has given a tuning kit for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Comparing the kits from the two companies, TechArt sure does better as the one from Merdad only caters for external upgrades and no change to the performance factors. TechArt kit effecting changes to both exterior as well as interior makes it a better choice hands down.
