Despite the fact that Mercedes-Benz C 216 presents the current generation of CL class as the luxury two-door coupe and there are plenty of reasons to leave the latest Mercedes-Benz CL 63 AMG untouched, many tuning companies want to leave their mark on this car. A good example is the German tuning firm Väth that has unleashed a new performance package for the Mercedes’ facelifted coupe. This company was once again able, after quite purposeful actions, to put the sports car of the highest category on the wheels.
For example, the 5.5 liter V8 biturbo has been treated with the Tuning-Kit V63S, and as a result it now makes 463 kW / 630 hp and 930 Nm of maximum torque. It shaves 0.2 seconds off the 0 to 100 km/h time, bringing it dwon to 4.3 seconds. Without the electronic top speed limiter, the car can reach 300 km/h. In addition, the emission level has been reduced by the device made of stainless steel and Sport-Kat.
Beside this, in order to optimize the brakes, on the approval of the engineering supervision, the tubes of fuel inlet are made of curved steel in which the brake fluid Castrol SRF circulates. The German tuning company also offers the adequate brakes air blow-off in an optimal way.
In addition, VÄTH also offers wheels sizing 9×20 inch at the front and 10,5×20 inch at the rear with 255/35ZR20 tires or 275/35ZR20. Factory made ABC (Active-Body-Control)-chassis are located deeper and is more comfortable in the first and second gear of the damper and in the third they are tightly regulated as in all sport cars, so the agility is clearly improved.
The car also features carbon fiber radiator cover and the rear diffuser, the cap of the side mirrors is made of carbon fiber, as well as the trunk spoiler and if necessary it may be lined with carbon as well.
The interior features the sports steering wheel, created by VÄTH, in the full sense of the word indicates the direction. Also, the leather interior gives the car a prestigious looks. By the way, the carbon or precious wood lining is available in accordance with your desire. The expected speed of 360 km / h suits this vehicle perfectly.
