About one month age we’ve show you the very first spy shots of the facelifted BMW X6. Well, it seems that the German car maker continues the testing for the xDrive35i and 50i models that will be unveiled later this year, reason for which new spy photos of the BMW X6 have been released.
As you can see if you take a look in the photo gallery below, the 2012 BMW X6 Facelift will have a different front fascia compared to the top model 50i, while it has received some new upgrades in the visual department,including new headlights, a front and rear a pros, as well as LED-powered white corona rings for daytime running lights and taillights.
In addition to all these, aerodynamics have also been improved by the slats in the two new air intakes, while the kidneys have been redesigned, the grille receiving some new bars that give the car a 3D aspect since they are not as flat as they used to be.
At this time what is really important about the currently spied 2012 BMW X6 is that it’ll be getting a new set of engines most important of which, is the 3.0 liter tri-turbo six cylinder diesel unit with an output of up to 400 PS (294 kW / 395 bhp). Beside this, the standard consumption is also reportedly lower than comparable diesel engines.
The powerplants in the X6 xDrive30d, xDrive40d, xDrive35i and xDrive50i will be revised as well by the company, receiving updates regarding higher power and better fuel efficiency.
For 2012, X6′s price range between $58,900 and $89,500.
