Six baby squirrels rescued from a BMW Z4 M

by Zack Colt

Many of us want to have a little boost of power under the hood, but from this to having 6 baby squirrels under it may be a pretty long step.
During the BMW CCA driving school, the owner of a BMW Z4 M heard some both funny and odd noises from under the car’s hood, reason for which he decided to investigate the problem. During this adventurous investigation, he found 6 baby squirrels living in the car’s airbox, and managed to save them. The car owner has no idea about how the baby squirrels managed to get stuck in there, but it is a good thing that they stayed alive with the engine working.

Some say that this might be a new form of publicity BMW came up with, since they changed the engine on the Z4 M, from a six-cylinder to a new four-cylinder turbocharged unit, but the six-squirrel powerplant might be a very good choice for the environment.
We will keep ourselves informed, in order to find out if some new squirrel engines will actually be built, and if so, when and where will be installed some peanuts stations for the animals.
