Infiniti has recently announced its plans to introduce a Formula One inspired Q50 Eau Rouge concept at the North American International Auto Show. Described as a design vision of a high-performance Q50, the Eau Rouge concept has been named after a corner on the Spa-Francorchamps track.
The company did not reveal much about the car but they did confirm that it will have an aerodynamic design that was influenced by their partnership with Red Bull Racing. Infiniti declined to elaborate but if we look at the picture, the model can be seen equipped with a carbon fiber front spoiler, a ventilated hood and a mesh grille.
Infiniti Executive Design Director Alfonso Albaisa said that performance was a key pillar of Infiniti’s DNA, and this car expressed a deepened design interpretation of that. He further stated that the Q50, with an abundance of technologies, provided a great basis for an extreme performance version, embodied in the design of Q50 Eau Rouge.
The model looks fantastic in the picture but we will have to wait for sometime till further details are revealed about the concept.
