Lamborghini Aventador LP988 Edizione GT by DMC previewed, upgrades cost 288,888 USD

by SpeedLux

Following a recent teaser, DMC has now released additional photos and preliminary details about their LP988 Edizione GT package for the Lamborghini Aventador.

The super car will feature a Veneno-inspired body kit that will consist of redesigned front and rear bumpers, a massive rear wing, vented aerodynamic hood and additional carbon fiber parts. As a result of these items, the body kit’s price tag has increased to 89,990 USD.

DMC has not provided any details about the engine upgrades as of now but judging by the LP988 designation they would have probably increased the 6.5-liter V12’s output from 700 HP (515 kW) to astounding 988 HP (726 kW) and for which they are asking 134,530 USD which is a big amount of money.

To sum it up, the entire kit would cost you a hefty 288,888 USD which will include the body kit and engine upgrade as mentioned above and also there are other improvements worth 64,368 USD of which detail will be revealed by DMC in the near future.

All we can say is that it is a huge amount DMC is asking for and we will have to wait and see what response it gets from the car fans and if the kit is really worth the amount quoted.
