The V8 Vantage has been used to adorn the N420 and it is one more to be done so. Aston Martin’s achievement at the Nurburgring 24hour race show is being felicitated with the N420 which is but the successor of the 2007 N400. The first promotional video of the car has been released by the maker of the car.
The N420 is speedier than its predecessor due to the fact that the 4.7-liter engine from the stock V8 Vantage has been used and also that the car is lighter by 27 kg or 60 lbs which has been achieved by using carbon fiber components.
Aston Martin has also added the sports pack to the car thereby improved handling characteristics of the car. Revised springs, dampers and anti-roll bars are part of the package.
For interior updates or upgrade a new instrument panel has been added. There is also leather or Alcantara steering wheel, lightweight racing seats and special N420 sill plaques. Price for the car in UK starts at £96,995 and is about US $155,638 or €112,277 at today’s exchange rates.
