Aston Martin has finally unveiled the Vanquish Volante after a numerous string of spy shots.
The Vanquish Volante is Aston Martin’s first ever Volante model which comes with a carbon fiber body which enables the convertible to tip the scales at 1,844 kg (4,065 lbs), making it only 9 kg (19.8 lbs) heavier than its fixed roof counterpart.
With the exception of the roof, which is the triple-skin lightweight fabric roof and takes just 14 seconds to fold, the Vanquish Volante comes with the same exterior design as the coupe and it also borrows the interior cabin layout. Also taken from the regular Vanquish is the Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic gearbox which sends power to the rear wheels.
The engine is also the same as the coupe which is V12 6.0-liter engine with 573 HP (421 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) at 5,500 rpm, resulting in a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in just 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 183 mph (294 km/h).
The model is priced at 199,995 GBP in UK, while in Germany it is priced at 264,995 EUR. In US, it can be ordered for a minimum price of 297,995 USD and in Dubai it is available from 323,974 USD.
