Malaysia: Nissan Almera Nismo Performance Concept unveiled

Nissan has unveiled the Almera Nismo Performance Package concept at the Super GT International Series in Malaysia recently.

The concept which is considered to be a preview of a production model that will be introduced later this year comes with an aerodynamic body kit with a front lip spoiler, revised side skirts, a rear diffuser, a trunk-mounted spoiler, a sports suspension, a Nismo exhaust and 17-inch alloy wheels. The model will also feature a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that will generate 102 HP (75 kW) and 139 Nm (102 lb-ft) of torque.

On the occasion, the Nismo President Shoichi Miyatani stated that they were glad to have their Nismo brand in Nissan’s mainstream models as it would offer something special in terms of advanced motorsports technology, dynamic performance capabilities, and distinctively sporty design that is embodied in the brand Nismo.
