by Alex

MF4 and MF5 models of Wiesmann will receive Bmw’ s new twin turbo technology. This came as an announcement from Wiesmann implying that both the cars will now be more agile and more powerful capable of producing more horsepower along with a better fuel consumption. Bmw’ s new 4.4-liter twin turbo V8 engine, which produces over 407 hp at a speed ranging from 5,500 to 6,400 rpm will now power the MF4. This new 4.4-liter twin turbo V8 engine will be of great help to the MF4 to accomplish a top speed of 180.8 mph or 290 km/h. It will push the vehicle to sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 4.6 seconds.

The same 4.4-liter twin turbo V8 engine shall power the MF5. This V8 engine will deliver an impressive 555 hp at 5,750 to 6,750 rpm. This is equivalent to the power output received by the Bmw X5 M and X6 M. With this much of horsepower, the MF5 would become capable of sprinting from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in a skimpy 3.9 seconds. The MF5 will have the new top speed achieved is 193.2 mph or 310 km/h.

What is more, the engine is capable of improved fuel consumption of just 10.7 liters/100 km or 21.98 mpg. The Roadster MF3 from Wiesmann, however, will continue with its current engine. It means you will get a 3.2-liter engine churning out over 343 hp and 365 Nm of torque levels. The engine will allow the car to dash in just 4.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) with the top speed limited at 255 km/h (162 mph).
