The big day for Prince William and Kate Middleton’s is April 29 and Project Kahn is doing their bit to make this royal wedding a special one by coming up with a modified Maybach 57 limousine to mark commemorate the grand occasion. It is way out of the ordinary as commemorative stamps or coins or some other similar memorabilia is usually the method by which such grand events are marked.
The “4 HRH” license plate that would distinguish this Project Kahn Maybach 57 indicates “For His Royal Highness”. Finished in a bespoke pearl white color the special Maybach features a 22 inch Kahn RS wheels and smoked taillights.
A Pentagon privacy glass hides the interior from probing eyes. There is however speculation that the interior is done up with lightweight stuff like the golfing umbrella and carbon fiber shaft as well as Kahn key ring.
Afzal Kahn, head of the company states “Project Kahn understands the meaning of traveling in style and with the conversion we perform on this prestige vehicle there is no more of a stylish way to travel. The 4 HRH number plate is worthy of befitting a vehicle such as the Project Kahn Maybach 57. And as a proud Englishman and designer, this is our way of wishing the royal couple many happy years together.”
The car is currently on display at the company headquarters located in Bradford. The future plans about the car have not been disclosed by the company. The release that has been made for the public and states thus “You never know, Project Kahn’s Maybach 57 complete with the 4 HRH number plate may yet make a grand entrance in London very soon,” gives the hint of the speculation regarding the car being present at the Royal Wedding.
The British royal families use the Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars for such momentous occasions, and therefore nothing can be certain on the use of the Maybach unless Kahn is planning to gift the car to the royal couple to be.
