China’s auto exports in June have hit a record high as the recovery of the global auto market continues, according to the industry data.
Chinese automakers exported a total of 158,000 vehicles in June, which was an increase of 1.5 times year on year and a 5 percent increase from the May month, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
New energy vehicles saw 11 percent of the share in the total export in June, according to the data.
In the first half of the year, about 828,000 vehicles were exported, increasing 1.1 times year on year.
China’s automobile sales increased 25.6 percent year on year to more than 12.89 million units in the first half of this year, and totaled about 2.02 million units in June, dropping 12.4 percent year on year, according to the earlier CAAM data.
