The joint venture of Dongfeng and Nissan in China has recently unveiled the Viwa Concept at the ongoing 2013 Auto Shanghai show.

The concept is an electric vehicle and has some striking similarities with Chevrolet Spark. The car has been described as a package with a compact body for easy driving and can provide reliability, practicality, efficiency and accessibility as claimed by the team.

The electric concept is a part of a new sub-brand Venucia which will have five production models developed by the year 2015. They already sell the D50 sedan and R50 hatchback and the e30 EV pilot program is scheduled to be launched later this year.

The company has not disclosed any details about the electric powertrain of the Viwa Concept but we can expect some details to be revealed soon and we will surely keep you updated on the same.
