Aston Martin One-77: First car reaches customer

by Alex

Aston Martin One has been one of the most eagerly awaited cars in the auto market until recently when the very first Aston Martin One 77 got delivered to its rightful owner. This lucky man to own the first Aston Martin One 77 based in Monaco was seen for the very first time with his jewel of a super car in front of the Hotel de Paris in the center of Monte Carlo. Why we do call him lucky other than owning the first car is that he bought the car for its original price at of 1,340,000 euro (around $1,825,000 at the current exchange rates). His luck favored him well as he escaped having to pay the 17 percent increase of $235,000 that was piled up onto the price tag of the other 17 models to be sold back in November last year.

Now let’s come to what is in store under the hood for the car. For its here that lurks a massive 7.3 liter V12 powerplant which is similar to the one that powers the DBS, the DB9 and the brand new V12 Vantage model from Aston Martin. The engine has a power output rating of about 750 HP. The car is a very light weight one (projected weight of the car is 1,500kg) hence enhancing it to achieve a quicker time in breaching the 60 mph mark starting from rest. The magic number is 3.5 seconds. Aston Martin is also positive about the fact that the car’s engine is capable of taking the top speed of the car to above 200 mph. Well we hope the car is very close to these stats which will make this car one of the best buys and maybe a sales chart topper for Aston Martin in the upcoming years.
