Priced at 98,000 Euros the Ford Mustang Shelby GT640 “Golden Snake has recently been released by GeigerCars who are known for their aftermarket creations in the American car segment. Based on the latest model of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500, this original car itself is quite a force to reckon with in the automotive market. The tuning firm has tweaked the 5.4 liter V8 engine fitted on the car by adding a 2.3 liter compressor and an exhaust system made up of stainless steel. There are also some software modifications that the tuning firm has carried out on the engine to draw 640 PS (series: 548 PS). The car is a rear wheel drive one. Torque developed by the engine is also a massive 789 Nm.

With so much of power on tap, it would be hardly surprisingly for the tuned Mustang to come up with some really impressive accelerating figures. And the Mustang doesn’t disappoint with a 3.7 second time for the 0 to 100 kmph run along with a top speed is 295 kmph. The engine block would be made up of aluminum for the units of 2011 production year and there onward. The load on the front axle is reduced by this process and provides better position of the car on the road. The bonnet is made up of carbon which also helps in improving efficiency of the car. For improving airflow into the combustion chamber the tuning firm has incorporated an intake air channel into the engine bonnet.

The body of the car has been given a dead gold paint scheme and in the sun there is an amazing reflection that is noticed. The front spoiler lip is made up of carbon fiber while the rims with ring accentuation are the same color as the vehicle. The size of these rims are 8.5 x 20 inch front and 10 x 20 inch rear. Tires are super Michelin Pilot sports tires of dimensions 255/35ZR20 and 285/30ZR20. Optimal ground grip of the tires have been obtained by the feature of adjustable sports chassis from H&R. The interior of the tuning package includes an EU navigation system and high quality sound system.
