Great Wall Motor vehicle sales increased 22 percent in June

Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor (GWM) saw a 22.71 percent increase in auto vehicle sales year on year in June.

The automaker said it sold a total of 100,664 vehicles in June, increasing from 82,036 in June last year.

Vehicle sales in the first half of 2021 amounted to 618,211 units, a year-on-year increase of 56.47 percent, the automaker said.

Its overseas sales in the January-June period have tripled to 61,672 units.

Overall, during January-May, the automaker saw an increase of 65.3% with 517,547 units sold.
