Joss SupercarJoss Supercar from Australia will make its debut end of August.

So far we know that this first Australian supercar will use a mid-mounted 6.8-liter V8(developed exclusively in Melbourne for Joss) that packs around 500 horsepower.

500 horsepower isn’t a whole lot, but considering Joss Supercar weighs just 940 kg(2072 pounds) it has a very impressive power to weight ratio. Expected 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) figures for the production model are just 3.0 seconds and top speed will be over 340 km/h (211 mph).

The philosophy behind the JOSS design is to create a body that uses the airflow both over and under the car to provide second-to-none handling and road holding yet still provide a comfortable, supple ride.

Joss supercar will be priced around $600,000 and first year production will be limited to 25 units, so far 10 orders have been released. In the future company also hopes to take it racing at Le Mans. Official launch is in 53 days.
