Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4

by Alex

A sneak photo of the Lamborghini LP 700-4 Aventador by some unknown individual named Ron has made its way to the people. The caption that was carried along with the photo was, “It’s not always easy to keep a secret.” This makes it appear that the picture is for sure that of the new Murcielago successor.

The Aventador LP 700-4 is expected to be fitted with the firm’s all new 6.5 liter V12 engine that is capable of delivering an imposing 515 kW (700 hp) and maximum torque of 690 Newton meters. For transmission the car would be having something that is found on sports cars, the “Lamborghini ISR” automated manual gearbox. This gear system combines minimal shift times and everyday usability with low weight and dimensions.

Total weight of the new engine is a mere 235 kg. Along with this the car is also going to have a new suspension system that is totally out of the box concept. Inspired by the Formula 1 the pushrod spring and damper concept would meet the needs of a high performance road going vehicle.
