Lotus reveals 350HP Supercharged Evora S and clutchless Evora IPS before Paris Motor Show

by Alex

The contrast between the Moscow motor show and the Paris Motor show is that the Moscow show is a more docile forerunner to the Paris show. The Paris show would have display of insanity to a great extent like the Citroen models but there would be normal ones too like the ‘Loti’.

The name of the car is Lotus Evora S. It is not that graphically magnificent as that associated with the name Lotus, however there is the big curvy letter that has been exquisitely designed to give it the supercharged status. The engine of this car is a 3.5 liter V6 which has been sourced from Toyota and the power it delivers is an impressive 350 hp.

Dany Bahar CEO Lotus said “You don’t realize what you were missing from your driving experience until you get behind the wheel of the Evora S.” The comment does not seem appropriate enough as an inspiration for people to go for the Evora. The reason for the CEO to make this sort of a statement not very much understood.

The car is installed with a standard sports package that also has a sport button which adjusts the throttle response and engages the bypass valve of the exhaust. The car also has a rear diffuser which has a wide mouth and outlets designed at the center. Heads up display and cross grilled rotors are also fitted on the Evora S.

Along with the Evora S is the Evora IPs that would be making its debut at the Paris Auto Show. IPS is for Intelligent Precision Shift.

The car develops 280 hp with its engine and for transmission has a 6 speed auto gear system. There are sport and paddle shifters which makes the car an interesting ride. People from Asia, Middle East and America who have the desire for a sports car but would like to cruise around in one rather than zooming around would use the third pedal as per Lotus.
