Maltese company reveals electric sports car, Valene Black Mamba

A Maltese company has revealed a high-powered electric cars with an optimal prospective output of 810bhp.

The Valene Black Mamba project has reached its sophisticated model development, with the objective being to start making and distribution in 2017, Silex Power, the business behind the automobile, said in a declaration.

The entry-level Black Mamba will include an 80kW motor with an output of 107 bhp, implying the car will be able to zip from zero to 100km/h in simply 4 seconds.

Johnaton Grech, the person behind the vehicle, informed Times of Malta that his firm has been working in the market for last 6 years. He informed that despite the high power output of the three-wheel car, electrical motors provided far more steady performance compared to their internal combustion equivalents.

Regardless of all the power being provided to the one rear wheel, Mr Grech stated on-board computer systems would keep track of the traction of the rear tire several times every second in order to assist drivers remain in control.

The vehicle provides to 500 kilometres autonomy on a charge with 50kWh battery pack.

The design of the Black Mamba has actually been engineered to be as easy as possible, to make the automobile extremely trustworthy and upkeep free.

Costs for the automobile start at EUR35,000 and depend on setup. The company is also preparing for global distribution.
