Man dies in Sacramento after car crashes with utility pole

A man died after the car he was traveling in crashed with a utility pole Wednesday night in Sacramento, California.

According to North Sacramento California Highway Patrol (CHP), a white Honda Accord was moving on Garden Highway just west of Powerline Road before 9 p.m. 

North Sacramento CHP is continuing their investigation that why the Honda lost control and crashed with a utility pole just off of the north road edge. 

A 26-year-old man was killed in the accident. The officials are yet to reveal the man’s identity.

Officers do not know the factors involved in the crash.
