Official details, photos and specs: Citroen Metropolis Concept

by Andrew Randall

It has passed a really long time since I saw the last Citroen concept but here we got the Citroen Metropolis Concept which is really special because of some specifications. If you’re saying that this car is very long, you’re not wrong, it’s 5.3 meters long and it is also as wider as a Maybach 62. Also, comparing this concept to the long-wheelbase Mercedes-Benz S-Class, it is still longer.

This new concept is going to be styled and created by the PSA’s Group Shanghai design studio. Also, the turbine-style wheels are 21 large and are covered by 265/35 tires.

The Citroen Metropolis Concept is powered by a 2.0 liter V6 petrol engine which is combined with an electric engine which can raise its output from 55hp to 95hp depending on how much is necessary. The petrol unit is able to develop up to 272hp and also a maximum torque of 277 lb-ft and combined with the electric engine, this car can have a total output of 460hp and also a maximum torque of 317 lb-ft.

This is a four-wheel-drive car and it comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch box transmission. The auto maker said that this car will have performances similar to those 4.0 liter V8 petrol engines.
