Official: The Aston Martin V12 Zagato Is Entering Production Priced From $525,000

by Sebastian Bivin

We talked about this subject before, but now became certainty – the Aston Martin V12 Zagato is entering production. we wouldn’t expect to see one down at the local dealership anytime soon because, as expected, only 150 examples will be made, each fetching a whopping £330,000. That’s before taxes, and by current conversion rates, it comes in around $525,000. Production will begin in about a year in Gaydon.

Analysing the competition seems that the latest Aston is more expensive than just about anything this side of the seven-figure league populated by the likes of the Bugatti Veyron, Pagani Huayra, and Aston’s own One-77, which stands as the only offering in the company’s range that’s still more expensive than the Zagato.

Aston Martin V12 Zagato was unveiled earlier this year at the Villa D’ Este Concours, with a racing version debuting at the 39th ADAC Nürburgring 24 Hour race. It is inspired by the classic DB4GT Zagato, the V12 Zagato is based on the V12 Vantage and features a handcrafted aluminum and carbon-fiber body.

Aston, confirming production plans, said “orders are now being taken on a strictly first-come first-served basis.”
Aston CEO Ulrich Bez, speaking for once with only a trace of hyperbole, observed: “The V12 Zagato is the perfect inspiration for the next 50 years of Aston Martin.”

What, $525,000? 😮
That’s impossible!!!! Is much too expensive for a car. At this price it could be a plane 😐

We have to consider and that is a car in that have invested a lot of money … is basically a technological achievement and can not be given free. How much did you expect to cost, $ 100?
