A car crash that killed one person and four others were injured in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
Hoffman Estates police said they got the call of a car crash at around 3 a.m. and discovered three vehicles involved when they attended the crash site.
Initial investigation revealed two cars and a commercial box truck were damaged in the crash.
The crash led to the shutting down of the intersection of Higgins and Barrington Roads for nearly six hours as police investigated the crash.
A 20-year-old succumbed to injuries after being admitted to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Four others were admitted to St. Alexius Medical Center with small injuries.
