Two teens killed after car crash in Decatur, Alabama

Two teens were killed in a two-car crash on Old Moulton Road in Decatur, Alabama on Friday night.

The Decatur Police were notified of a two-vehicle crash at about 11:30 p.m. Friday night.

When the police attended the scene, they saw a vehicle occupied by a 16-year-old and a 13-year-old who hit another vehicle and had left the roadway.

Both teens were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 47-year-old man from Danville was driving another vehicle. He was admitted to the Decatur-Morgan Hospital and released later with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say an investigation into the wreck is ongoing.
