A man was killed and six others were injured after a car crash in north suburban Round Lake Beach, Illinois on Tuesday night.
It was around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 83 and Lexington Drive when the officials found a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox and a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, both of which were damaged after crashing in the intersection.
The 41-year-old male identified as Epifanio Camarena of Round Lake was driving Equinox. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Six others were admitted to Advocate Condell Medical Center in critical condition.
They included 4 children aged between 4 to 15.
The driver of Silverado was also injured in the crash.
The crash is being investigated. It is yet to be known what caused the crash.
