One teen dead, two teens injured in car crash in Toledo

A 15-year-old Toledo boy is dead and two other teens are injured after a chase and a crash at the intersection of Monroe and West Bancroft streets.

The incident occurred around 8:50 on Saturday night.

Toledo Police were attempting to pull the vehicle over on Monroe, when the 15-year-old driver took off.

When he attempted to turn westbound onto Bancroft, he lost control, and the car flipped onto its side. The vehicle then struck into a brick building.

The teen driver was admitted to Toledo Hospital where he died.

The two passengers, a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old boy, both from Toledo, were also admitted to Toledo Hospital. Their conditions are not confirmed at this moment.
