Home damaged after a crash in Penfield, New York

A home was damaged in a two-vehicle crash in Penfield, New York on Sunday.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says a car on Sweets Corners Road ran a stop sign and crashed with a truck. The force of the crash then flipped the first car over until it ended up crashing into a house at the intersection with Harris Road.

The driver and two dogs were trapped inside the vehicle, but they were taken out of it and they sustained only minor injuries.

Deputies say drugs and alcohol do not seem to have played a factor in the crash.
