Peugeot has recently released the first picture of the upcoming 208 T16 Pikes Peak in racing livery.

Decorated with Red Bull dubs, the 208 T16 Pikes Peak has a carbon fiber body and a tubular steel frame chassis. It also comes with features such as a sport-tuned suspension, high-performance brakes and custom magnesium alloy wheels covered with Michelin tires.

The 208 T16 Pikes Peak comes fitted with a twin-turbo 3.2-liter V6 engine that can generate power of 875 hp (652 kW). The engine is connected to a six-speed sequential transmission gearbox and has an all-wheel drive system. The power enables the race car to accelerate to 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in just 1.8 seconds. The race car has a weight of 875 kg (1,929 lb).

Sébastien Loeb will drive this race car in the Unlimited Class and tackle the exhausting 20 km (12.4 mile) long course that features 156 turns and a 1500 meter (4921 foot) elevation change.
