Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are wishing to recognize two motorcyclists who refused to stop after they were seen taking a trip at double the posted speed limit in Gatineau Park, Canada, on Friday.

It occurred on Promenade de la Gatineau, located near the off-ramp to Boulevard Saint-Raymond, at about 6:30 p.m. ET on Sept. 16, RCMP stated in a media release issued Monday.

Officers were imposing the 60 km/h speed limit when 2 motorcyclists raced by at 125 km/h, authorities stated.

The motorcyclists continued speeding, and one of them exited the boardwalk in the wrong instructions on the eastbound ramp to Boulevard des Allumettières, RCMP stated.

One of the bikes had Ontario licence plates on it.

Anyone with info on the motorcycles and/or their motorists is asked to call RCMP at 613-952-4200.
