Report : Infiniti eyeing a flagship sedan & coupe

by SpeedLux

Infiniti has recently revealed some new details about the company’s future product lineup. The same was done by the company’s President Johan de Nysschen while speaking to Car & Driver.

Johan confirmed that the company is considering an upscale, very emotional and high-performance luxury sedan in near future. However no details have been made available about the same but it could be a four-door coupe with a turbocharged V6 engine.

He even hinted that the model could spawn a luxurious coupe. He explained that the company needs some kind of sexy sports car that might share powertrains and platforms with the range-topping sedan.

Despite mentioning the possibility of developing a coupe, de Nysschen stressed that most likely it would not be a production version of the Emerg-E concept and the reason given for the same by him was that the world was not ready yet for a $200,000 (€151,595) Infiniti.
