SEMA 2009: Camaro Convertible by Drop Top Customs

by Ionut Dragomir

2010 Drop Top Customs Chevrolet Camaro SS ConvertibleNo one knows for sure when will GM introduce a convertible version of the new Camaro. Their problems started beginning of the year when the German company responsible for supplying the convertible top ran out of business.

It is likely more than a year before the 2011 Camaro Convertible goes on sale.

If you can’t wait for the GM to start selling the Camaro Convertible you can turn to Florida based coachbuilder Drop Top Customs. For $18,000 they will turn your new Camaro into topless summer fun.

You can take a closer look at their project car at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, that is based on the 422 horsepower Camaro SS. So if GM can’t deliver the convertible anytime soon and you have a spare $18k contact Drop Top Customs.
