Six killed after car crash on State Road 7 in Palm Beach County

Six people were killed after a car collision that involved two vehicles on State Road 7 west of Delray Beach in Palm Beach County on Thursday night.

The crash took place when a 17-year-old male from Wellington was driving a BMW north in the 14000 block of State Road 7 just before 11 p.m. and he rear-ended a Nissan Rogue SUV. 

The crash caused the Nissan to overturn. 

Five of the Nissan’s occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.

One person succumbed to injuries at Delray Medical Center.

The 17-year-old had minor injuries.

The identities of these individuals were not released as of yet.

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office was investigating the incident.
