Ford has revealed their plans of producing a special version of 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca which will be clad in a shade of Grabber Blue. The company has planned to auction this car at the 40th Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction with the funds raised being donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
Now the car is not all about the exterior coat of color that it’s going to receive. The car has also undergone some other major changes as well. This unique version of the Mustang Boss 302 will have a brand new set of Citic Dicastal wheels, an X bear brace, a C stripe along with a set of black accents on the mirrors, roof and spoiler as well. The Grabber Blue shade will also be used on the interiors of the car on the Recaro seats and the grille surrounds of the car.
This all new Mustang Boss 302 from the house of Ford will have a 5 liter V8 engine under the hood capable of providing an output power of 440 HP along with an output torque of 380 lb. ft. This marvelous engine will be combined with a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission. We hope that with these great features and the stunning exterior color of the car, the auction will fetch a high amount and will help the juveniles suffering from diabetes a great deal. A great imitative from Ford we may conclude.
“Like the legendary Parnelli Jones, the Boss Mustang we will be auctioning is truly one-of-a-kind. It is the only 2012 Grabber Blue Boss 302 Laguna Seca we will ever build,” stated the President of The Americas at Ford, Mr. Mark Fields. “The winning bidder on this car will not only become part of Mustang history but also will be a pioneer in the next chapter of the Boss legacy. At the same time, he or she will be contributing to a worthy cause, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.”
