Three people were killed in a crash in Idaho on Saturday afternoon, due to dusty conditions.

The accident took place on May 1 near Mountain Home.

One semi truck, two cars, and four pickup trucks were involved in the seven-vehicle crash on northbound Highway 51 at mile marker 83.

Lisa Holland, Laurie Bloomquist, and one more as yet unidentified were declared dead on the scene. Daniel Holland, Valdez, Meyer, Zandes, and a minor involved in the accident were all taken to a nearby hospital.

Investigators believe that 45 mph winds in the area at the time may have kicked up dust, causing low visibility which resulted in the crash.

A power line in the area was also knocked down due to the wind.

The crash is under investigation.
