Three killed after car crash in Ouray, Colorado

Three people died after a car crash on a mountain road in the area of Ouray, Colorado on Monday.

The crash took place between 11 AM and 12 PM on Ouray County Road 361 when a 2022 Jeep – was traveling away from the mountain basins.

The vehicle then drifted off the right edge of the road, falling off a cliff and tumbling some hundred feet.

A 72-year-old male driver from Ouray was driving the car.

Passengers included a 60-year-old and a 28-year-old from Arizona. Both were females.

All three occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.

Colorado State Patrol is investigating the crash.
