Three killed after car crash in Richland, driver arrested

Three passengers were killed after a car crash and the driver was arrested on Sunday morning in Richland, Washington.

The crash took place on George Washington Way on Sunday morning. The officials believe the driver, identified as Jennifer Ana Duong, 19, of Richland, was racing another car when she lost control and struck into a signal light pole.

Her passengers, two who were 19 years old and another who was 20, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their identities were not released.

Duong was admitted to a hospital and then booked into the Benton County jail at about 8:15 a.m.

Richland Police Department investigated the crash.
