A woman driver, child, and a male passenger were killed at Lake Tabourie on the New South Wales (NSW) South Coast overnight after a car hit a tree.

This is a clear reminder to drive safely during the Easter holiday weekend, police said.

The three died when their car hit a tree on the Princes Highway, south of Ulladulla at 4.30 am.

Another man, also a passenger, was airlifted to hospital. His condition is serious.

Investigation into the incident is ongoing.

NSW traffic officials are calling on motorists to take it easy on the state’s roads this Easter weekend after massive delays earlier.
