Three people were killed and two others were injured after a car crash near Forks in Clallam County, Washington on Saturday morning.
The crash took place when a car left the road and struck a tree.
According to the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were notified around 4:20 a.m. of a single-vehicle car crash on Sitkum-Solduc Road.
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. Three others were admitted to the hospital in critical condition to the hospital. One of the three, a 17-year-old girl, later died at the hospital.
Officials say alcohol and speed have contributed to the crash.
The identities of the involved were not released.
